What an ideal immigration consultant should offer

Aspiring immigrants to any country would want to avail services of an immigration consultant who they can totally trust. It is easier said than done for most to home in on a trusted service provider. It takes a lot of research or if you know someone who has got a good deal from an Immigration Consultancy company, you may assume you would be getting one too from that firm.

Until the early 80s, not many Indians would venture to migrate. Kerala used to see a lot of migrants moving to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and other countries for lowly-skilled jobs. A few from Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh who managed to go to the US were viewed as ‘lucky’ people by their acquaintances and friends. Of course, many children from the affluent families would head to the United Kingdom to pursue higher education in humanities and medicine.

All that changed in the late 80s and with the liberalization of India’s economy initiated in 1991, though the process of Indians underwent a major change. It also helped that other people started viewing India as an emerging nation, shedding its image of a closeted territory it had borne earlier.

Cut to 2017, all that has changed now. You can find Indians in nations such as Norway, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and more. This phenomenon also got a fillip as the world became globalized, thanks in no small measure to technology. It is now no longer unusual to bump into normal middle-class individuals in India who have stayed abroad for a couple of years or even more.

That said, people should still be cautious while choosing the proper consultants who not only offer Visa Consultancy Services but provide wholesome assistance. Some companies, apart from offering visa processing, also take the pain to see which country would suit you depending on your qualifications and would also hunt a job for you there.

In the present scenario, Canada is the most accommodating country for immigrants, thanks to Justin Trudeau, Premier of Canada, and his Liberal Party. If you are considered a skilled worker, you can migrate to Canada as a permanent resident depending on their ability to integrate into its economy. This process of immigrating to Canada is called Express Entry. Then there is a start-up visa for entrepreneurs willing to Invest in Canada.

If you want to migrate to the United States to work, you should either apply for L-1 or H-1B visa. L-1 visa is given to an employee of a multinational company which temporarily transfers him/her to an affiliate, subsidiary or headquarters of the same company in America. It is valid for either five years or seven years depending on the criteria one satisfies. On the other hand, H1-B visas are given to individuals who are recruited by US-based employers. The validity of this visa is six years. If you want to migrate to the US as an entrepreneur, you should be applying for an EB-5 visa, for which one has to invest $1.35 million to $1.8 million. The amount to be invested depends on the place.

There are two types of work visas for prospective UK immigrants. They are Tier 2 (General) visa and Tier 5 temporary worker visa. UK investor visa, which is known as Tier 1 (Investor) visa, costs £2 million if the applying individual is a citizen of a country which is outside of the EEA (European Economic Area) or is a Swiss national.

Likewise, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Portugal etc. also have similar visas in place for work or for permanent residency.
